Tropics reminds me of paintings of Hawaiʻi vibrant, warm, and full of life. During the seven years I lived away from home, photos of the islands were constant reminders of where I came from. Oregon was cold yet beautiful, but distance helped me realize where my heart truly belonged. Moving back home to the tropics has been the best decision of my life. a return to warmth, familiarity, and the place meant for me.
